We guarantee our prices are lower than any competitor’s price for the same type of prints with setup. Price match valid for same type of print and turn-around time at industry standard photo labs located in the greater Los Angeles area.
We can ship anywhere. Shipping fees are based on location, time, and weight of the package to be delivered.
We do not have any rush charges for photo prints. We can do same day or next day prints. Please ask for the quick turnaround only if you have to have the prints by a certain time. Normal turnaround is 3-4 days. Shipping may delay having your prints on time. We recommend picking up at our Studio City location.
Easy! Click on order online, fill in contact info and attach the file(s) to be printed. A friendly staff person will contact you (e-mail or phone) to get the details of your order and payment info.
We keep your orders on file. Mention in the notes section that it is a reorder; and we’ll take care of the rest. No setup fee on reorders.

We pride ourselves in providing the highest quality prints. Color correction and adjustments are included in setups. To insure you like the final product, you can ask for a test print before running the quantity free of charge (for Photo Prints Only). There are no card stock test prints, only a digital proof. There are no color matching or proofing available for press print. Colors might not match exactly to previous card stock orders or to your photo prints. There will be reprints if major errors have occurred from our end.
High resolution files are recommended. We suggest submitting a file no less than 2 MB or 4×6 at 300 dpi. We will notify you if the file provided is not going to produce a high quality print.
Although we will archive your files for at least one year, there are no guarantees your file will be available. We suggest storing your files on disk or hard drive for safe keeping as well.
E-mail proofs are provided with design and setup orders at no charge.
We can print 4×6 proofs with file name printed on the back. 4×6 proof prints are as low as $0.39 ($0.99 per print for less than 25 quantity).
Yes. We make custom proof sheets from you whole shoot or individually picked shots. 8×10 and 10×15 sizes available.
We can do special designs to fit your look. Including a unique border and font for name. See samples.
The industry standard for 8×10 headshot prints is including your name. A onetime setup fee of $10 applies. See samples.
Yes! We can print a test for your review before running the quantity. No charge for test prints. Test prints to be reviewed at our Studio City location only.
Normal turnaround time is 3 to 4 days. We can have your prints ready sooner at no extra cost.
No Rush Charge! We just ask that if you could wait for the normal turnaround time to do so. This way we can accommodate actors who have to have their print for a certain event.
Our $10 name setup fee covers your name, agent logo, SAG/AFTRA logo and border setup.
Both options are available to you. Our photo prints do not have watermarks; so you can print your resume on the back with a laser printer. We also offer 8×10 size resume paper for stapling on the back of your headshot.
Industry Standard is to have one headshot picture on the 8×10, however, you can do layouts of multiple images or have a smaller image on the side of the main one. This works if you want to show different hairstyles, beard, or things you can do (ex, musician, stunts…)
Color is recommended and is the industry standard. It’s easier to know what you look like with a color photograph i.e. hair color and skin tone.
Vertical shots are the standard, but horizontal shots can also work very well. Talk to your agent or manager for their recommendation. See Samples.
Photos have a continuous tone, better contrast and produce a more flattering print. Photos have an all around better quality than lithos. Lithos however, tend to be cheaper and thicker stock. Larger quantities are normally required for litho printing.
Actor’s Photo lab specializes in photo reproductions.
Better deals are available on larger quantities. Smaller runs are good if the image will be used temporarily or not as often.
This is up to you. It is normally located on the bottom left, right, or center. Some agents require a specific layout, check with your agent.
You can pick a font from our font list; try to keep it simple and legible. We can help pick a font for you.
“Bleed” refers to a print without any borders. See Sample.
This is all on personal preference; both can be used for headshot submissions.
We can put any border color. White is the standard, but other colors will work as well.

Yes, we will waive the name setup fee. The file must be submitted as print ready and we will not do any further adjustments.
No. We will retain all of your previous files that already have a name setup. Just call and place a reorder and only pay for the prints.
Postcards are available in 4×6, 5×7 or 5.5×8.5.
Our Press Print cards are on 14pt card stock with UV coating and can be full color on both sides. No test prints or color matching available (extra charge applies to rush orders). Photo cards have quicker turnaround time (no rush charge) and better image quality. Photos, however, may be too thin for mailing and business cards.
Zed cards or comp cards are for models. These promotional cards include close up face picture on the front with name and 4 body shots on the back with measurements and contact info. Zed cards or comp cards are printed full color on both sides on 14 pt. card stock.
Photo cards take about two days, quicker turnaround available at no extra charge.
The turnaround for 14 pt. card stock is about 4 to 6 business days.
Designs are done custom to fit your look. You can ask for a digital proof to check and approve layout. We can modify design after you view your digital proof to make corrections.

Yes we can. Although all our scans are high resolution, we prefer to print from original digital files to avoid quality loss because of second generation scanning.
We can take a high resolution photograph of any print that is physically too large to scan
Yes we can. We have years of experience scanning and restoring old photos that have been damaged from water, sun, or any other elements.
Minimum retouching is recommended for minor blemishes and hair flyaway.
Moderate retouching is most common. Which includes blemishes, under eyes, crow’s feet, laugh lines, fly-aways, skin tone and sharpening of the eyes.
Major retouching is recommended for drastic changes such as background color, body shape, hair color and any other specific or out of the ordinary retouching.
Yes! CD included with all retouch orders free.
Yes, get better results and flexibility of usage with higher resolution files.
The final retouched version can be viewed at our location or a digital proof can be emailed.

You need to look like yourself. A good retouched picture does not look retouched. Excessive retouching is not recommended, unless it is for a stylized look.
