The Navasartian Games have evolved into a magnificent showcase event since their inception in the Western USA Region in 1975. With a remarkable participation of 300 teams, 3,200 athletes, scouts, and an enthusiastic audience of over 35,000 spectators, these games span eight weeks each year, culminating in a grand celebration on the Fourth of July weekend. This culmination features not only athletic competitions but also a festive atmosphere with world-class singers and an elaborate closing ceremony, uniting the extended Homenetmen family, including athletes, scouts, parents, and dedicated volunteers from the 18 chapters across the Western US.
What makes the Navasartian Games truly special is their collaborative nature. They extend a warm invitation to over fifty local businesses and organizations, creating a vibrant festival with food and games booths that expend the boundaries of what it means to be a part of Homenetmen.
These games aren’t just an event; they hold a cherished place in the hearts of the generations who have experienced these games. They represent all that is wholesome and uplifting within the Armenian community.
These games exemplify what can be achieved by the strength and unity of the Armenian spirit, serving as a beacon of inspiration and a testament to the power of community engagement.
